The Yamahara Neighborhood Association (Chairman: Ichiro Asami, permanent population 57) conducted a mass grass cutting on the main roads within the Yamahara settlement on Tuesday, June 17, 2025. Eleven residents participated in this annual event to protect the local nature and scenery.
The grass-cutting work began at 9:00 a.m. and took about two and a half hours to carefully prepare the planned area. Despite it being a weekday, many residents cooperated with the work, contributing to the beautification of the village environment.
The Yamahara Neighborhood Association continues to carry out various initiatives aimed at protecting the local environment, such as formulating townscape guidelines and beach clean-up activities. The grass cutting this time is part of these efforts, and has been carried out at this time every year since 2013, with the idea of "doing what we can ourselves."
