「第37回マーチング＆バトンinオキナワ2024」が2024年11月10日、沖縄コンベンションセンターで行われ、石垣第二中学校マーチングバンド部が金賞を受賞。全国3連覇がかかる全国大会出場の切符を獲得した。同部は全国大会出場に伴い、資金造成のためクラファンに挑戦している。
ウイングキッズリーダーズによる夏公演「結ぬ島風 〜波と紡ぐ祈り〜」が8月4日、石垣市民会館大ホールにて開催。小学4年生から高校3年生による子ども演劇団総勢58名が、迫力の演技やダンスで来場した観客を魅了した。
2024年6月15日（土）、お笑いコンビ、リップサービスの単独ツアー「2024 FULL HOUSE」が石垣市民会館中ホールで開催。石垣市出身でボケ担当の金城晋也さんが「カレーうどん晋也」に改名したことを発表。訪れた満員の観客を笑いで沸かせた。
On Sunday, November 26, 2023, Nose Waters held a live concert to celebrate their 30th anniversary at the Ishigaki Civic Hall. All past members gathered together and captivated the packed audience. The entire venue was filled with a sense of unity. The Cardboard Dancers also appeared during the Cardboard Boogie in the middle of the concert.
