Next to Manseikan is a T-shirt shop run by Kenjiro Higa, the vocalist of YAB, who regularly performs live at Manseikan.
The store is filled with one-of-a-kind items, including hand-printed T-shirts and hand-embroidered caps, all of which were inspired by Yaeyama.
Higa-san's artistic sensibility shines in addition to his band activities and T-shirt making. "The T-shirts are made in Yaeyama, so I think they look best on people on the islands. Please feel free to come and visit us, as if you were meeting a friend," he said with a friendly smile.
The store's name "BAGAMOON" means "mine" in the Yaeyama dialect. Why not come and find your favorite BAGAMOON?
