The owner, Chodi, is from Mauritius and has many years of experience visiting countries all over the world as a cook on cruise ships. He is a highly skilled chef who can prepare any type of cuisine, from Italian to French to Japanese.

It had been his dream to have his own restaurant for many years, and he opened Le DODO in Kabira in September last year. He says he felt a sense of affinity with Ishigaki Island, as the island has a similar atmosphere to his home country.

The signature dish, Mauritius Curry, is made with the chef's original spice blend, making it a dish that embodies all of his experience as a chef.
