Their signature dish is a tasting of Ishigaki beef and homemade Japanese Black beef served on a 75cm serving plate. Each set is a two-person serving of six items, all at a reasonable price. There is also a full range of side dishes, including kimchi, namul, salad, and authentic soup made with beef bones. The restaurant has spacious tables, allowing you to relax and unwind. A French pastry shop has opened along the industrial road near Yaeyama Police Station. The name of the shop, farinez'vous, means "covered in flour" in French. They are particular about the wheat that is the framework for making sweets, and sell a variety of items, mainly French pastries. The interior of the store is designed so that you can see the kitchen, creating a homey atmosphere where you can really get a feel for the manufacturing process. Just looking at the colorful cakes lined up in the show window makes you feel happy. They also have a wide selection of baked goods that are perfect as gifts, small souvenirs, and snacks.

The Euglena Mall is bustling with tourists again, just like usual. Among the rows of souvenir shops, right next to the Ishigakijima Community Shop, there is a staircase leading up to the second floor. Climbing the concrete stairs that remind me of the island's elementary school, I reached the entrance to a second-hand clothing store that also evokes a sense of nostalgia. The contrast between the "fashionable" souvenir shop on the first floor and the "nostalgic" second-hand clothing store is interesting.

This is a gallery shop run by Ikema Mayuko, a calligrapher and bingata artist who works alongside her husband, who runs an Okinawan restaurant. She creates a wide range of works, including title characters for television and movies, "Gofune-in" (a seal to commemorate boarding the Yaeyama Sightseeing Ferry), New Year's card designs, frames and murals. Each piece of art expresses Okinawa's flowers and is carefully crafted. In the gallery, which is filled with colorful works, there are many original products such as T-shirts and postcards on display, and you can also experience bingata photo frames (reservations required).
